Log what you watched in about ten seconds: a rating, a couple of vibes, a note if you have one. Kinolog reads the diary back and starts making calls. "My call: 4.2 stars." Then it shows exactly how it got there, drawn from films you have already rated, so you can disagree with it on the evidence.

IT CALLS YOUR RATING, NOT THE CROWD'S

Every recommender tells you a film is popular. Kinolog tells you what YOU are likely to give it, and where that number came from: the directors you return to, the decades you are generous with, the genres you are hard on. No black box, no "because you watched", no borrowed average from strangers.

Grade the calls afterwards. Bullseye, fine, or miss. Your hit rate goes on your stats page and stays there whether it flatters the app or not.

A READ ON YOUR TASTE, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Not a pie chart of genres. Sentences you can check: which decade you are softest on, the run of films that shows you will sit with something uncomfortable, the one director you keep coming back to. Every claim names the films it is drawn from, and you can edit the read when it is wrong.

Genre against decade, too, because taste is not one axis. You can love 2010s thrillers and be cold on the 2000s ones, and only a grid can say so.

Your years as a ribbon, so you can see the shape of a decade of watching, gaps included. Your own notes quoted back to you above the month you wrote them. Posters, not spreadsheet rows.

"Have I seen this?" answered in under two seconds, with your rating and whatever you said at the time.

NO FEED, NO FOLLOWERS

Nothing to perform. No likes, no comments, nobody watching what you watch. Private by default and it stays that way.
