You are the offensive coordinator. Every down starts with a blank page, draw up your perfect play to score points.

Drag a line from a receiver and that is his route. Send a man in motion. Then take the snap, read the coverage, and put the ball somewhere only your guy can reach it.

FOOTBALL MEETS "MAKE IT-TAKE IT" An offensive drive that never ends, unless you turn it over.

DRAW EVERY PLAY Nothing is pre-canned. You draw the routes with your finger, set option branches that break off mid play, and motion receivers before the snap to see whether the defense follows. The coverage is different every down, and it is reading you back.

THROW IT RIGHT Touch matters. Float one over the middle and a safety will jump the route. Fire a bullet into traffic and a corner gets a hand on it. Pick your window, lead your man, and drop some dimes.

KEEP THE PLAY ALIVE Break a tackle. Stiff arm a linebacker into the turf. Juke, spin, or swipe during a carry to pitch the ball and gamble on a lateral, because a lateral on the ground is live for everybody.

THE SCRIPT WRITERS HAVE SPOKEN Every few downs the game deals you modifier cards. Greasy hands. Crooked chains. A shorter play clock. Take the curse and the score multiplier that rides along with it, or burn a re-roll and hope for kinder writing.
