Long Time, Easy Life turns your phone into a calm bedside clock.

Set it on the nightstand or the desk and it quietly does four things at once: it tells the time on a soft flip clock, it shows you the weather where you are, it plays music that stays out of your way, and it gives you one line worth thinking about.

A FLIP CLOCK THAT IS EASY ON THE EYES Large, softly lit digits you can read from across the room, over a photograph that changes with your season, your weather, and the hour. Thousands of landscape photographs, none of them loud.

WEATHER, WITHOUT THE NOISE Today at a glance, hour by hour, and the week ahead. We only tell you it is going to rain when rain would actually change your day - a forecast that says "65% chance" while predicting no measurable rain helps nobody decide whether to carry an umbrella. So we stay quiet unless it matters.

MUSIC THAT STAYS IN THE BACKGROUND Hundreds of instrumental tracks, mixed with long crossfades so nothing ever starts or stops abruptly. Choose a mood, or exclude what you are not in the mood for - vocals, rock, classical, acoustic. There are quiet sets for focus, for reading, and for falling asleep. Playback keeps going with the screen off.

ONE LINE AT A TIME A rotating collection of lines from books - on investing, literature, poetry, science, philosophy - shown one at a time, never in a feed. If a line stays with you, the book it came from is one tap away.

A KINDER ALARM Set a wake time before you sleep and the app keeps a quiet watch through the night, showing only the hour you asked to rise. Morning doesn't arrive as a jolt: the alarm begins almost below hearing and climbs, slowly, over minutes - the same instrumental music, now gently insisting - until you surface. Lift the phone and it eases back down on its own.

SUBSCRIPTION Long Time, Easy Life Premium is an optional subscription, available monthly or yearly. It removes all advertising and unlocks the Apple Watch app. Everything else in the app stays free.
