SailStats turns your iPhone into a customisable sailing instrument display, race start-line tool, session recorder and powerful sailing replay and analysis app.

Use SailStats with nothing more than your iPhone’s GPS, or connect it to your boat’s instruments for a much richer picture of every sail.

With a compatible NMEA 0183 Wi-Fi source — including supported B&G, Simrad and Lowrance chartplotters, or an NMEA Wi-Fi gateway — SailStats can display and record wind, heading, boat speed, depth and other onboard data alongside your GPS track.

RACE START

THE FLEET

After sailing, everyone can upload their track and replay the fleet together on one map. • See who went where, where boats gained or lost, and compare real instrument and wind data when available. • Time Trial mode lets you compare sessions recorded at different times over the same course — so you can race previous performances, including your own.

YOUR SAILING HISTORY

• SailStats is designed to become more useful the more you sail. • Search, filter and tag your sessions and races, then see combined statistics across the sailing you’ve selected. Keep different boats, race series, training sessions or equipment organised while building a detailed record of your time on the water.

UNITS

• Choose knots, km/h or mph, and nautical miles, kilometres or miles. • Data is stored independently, so changing units never changes your recorded history.

PRIVACY

• No account is required. Recording, review and analysis can all work entirely on your device. • Sign in with Apple is optional and can be used to keep shared races connected to you across devices. Nothing is shared with a fleet unless you choose to share it.
