Leruna is an AI book reader built for people who want to stay immersed while getting clear answers at the moment curiosity strikes. Import your own book or choose a free public-domain classic, then read in a calm, continuous interface designed around the text.

ASK YOUR BOOK • Ask questions aloud and hear concise, conversational answers. • Leruna considers the passage on screen and any text you select. • Ask about a character, event, theme, idea, or unfamiliar detail. • When necessary, the assistant can research other parts of the book or search for broader information.

UNDERSTAND IN CONTEXT • Tap a word or select an expression for a contextual meaning. • Discover cultural, literary, and historical references connected to passages. • Expand references without leaving the reference list, or jump back to their place in the book.

NAVIGATE LONG BOOKS • Browse detected chapters and sections in the Reader Map. • Find text across the full book and move between every result. • Resume from your saved reading position. • Scroll continuously with progressive loading, even in long books.

MAKE READING VISUAL • Generate an image of a selected character, place, object, or scene. • Ask the assistant for a specific image while discussing the book. • Save generated images to Photos or share them. • Create an optional book-inspired reading backdrop for light or dark mode.

YOUR READING SPACE • Import EPUB, PDF, Markdown, HTML, and plain-text files. • Explore free public-domain books from Project Gutenberg. • Choose between five text sizes, light or dark mode, and assistant voices. • Read and ask questions in the language of your book or conversation.

New eligible accounts receive a 30-day Reader trial with a one-time usage pool. No subscription or payment method is required to begin. Optional Reader, Study, and Scholar subscriptions are available with monthly or annual billing and larger allowances for book processing, AI requests, conversational answer audio, and image generation.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your Apple Account settings.
