PRIVATE BY DESIGN Summit is completely free. No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts, no analytics — and no network connection at all. Your location, altitude and trips never leave your iPhone.

Works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Barometric pressure requires an iPhone with a built-in barometer (iPhone 6 and newer). Compass requires a real device. Keep Summit open while recording a trip — it does not track you in the background.
