Notabadkid is a gentle affirmation app for anyone caring for a young child (ages 2–8) who experiences the world a little differently. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or anyone helping raise a child through big feelings, sensory overwhelm, or a day that didn't go as planned — this app is a quiet reminder that you're doing better than you think.

No tracking. No streaks. No gamification. No clinical language. Just honest, second-person affirmations that meet you where you are — even on the hard days — and gently remind you that you're not alone in this.

HOW IT WORKS

Notabadkid lives quietly on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Add the widget once, and a new affirmation appears throughout your day — no need to open the app, search for support, or remember to check in on yourself. It finds you in the moment, not after.

You're in control of how much you see:

• Choose how many affirmations show up each day (1 to 6)
• Set your own active hours, so nothing appears before you're ready for it
• Turn notifications on or off, entirely up to you

CONTENT MADE FOR YOUR DAY

Pick from a growing set of affirmation packs, including a pack written specifically for caregivers raising neurodivergent kids — kids who stim, who need extra sensory planning, who are on their own timeline and their own chart. That pack was written by naming the hard parts honestly, not glossing over them, and then offering a reframe without ever telling you what to do differently.

Other packs speak to specific stretches of caregiving life: school days, holidays, travel, mealtimes, appointments — moments that often need a little extra steadiness.
