Lumelo helps cold-process soap makers manage formulas, ingredient stock, and batch curing.

Formulas Save oil blends with per-oil percentages, lye ratio, water ratio, superfat notes, skill level, studio rating, tags, and maker guidance. Duplicate an existing formula to iterate quickly, or scale any formula to a target oil weight and see calculated amounts for each oil, NaOH, and water.

Stock Track oils, lye, water, scents, colors, and additives with on-hand amounts, units, purchase dates, use-by dates, low-stock thresholds, unit cost, and supplier notes. Items flagged as low stock or expired appear as alerts.

Batch Prep Pick a saved formula, enter target oil weight, and Lumelo calculates a pick list with each ingredient amount. Set a mix date, cure day target, shelf location, and optional batch photos from your camera or photo library. The app checks your stock before you start and warns about shortages or expiring items.

Cure Bench Active batches display on a timeline with cure progress percentage, days remaining, and stage (Planning, Mixed, Curing, Extended Cure, Ready). Search by batch name, formula, or shelf location.

Readiness Check Score a curing batch on four indicators — firmness, surface dryness, scent stability, and visible moisture. The app returns a gate score (Not Ready, Check Today, Likely Ready, Needs Extended Cure) with a reason and suggested next step. Then mark the batch as ready, keep curing, or extend.

Signals A dashboard showing active batch count, saved formula count, and total oil used in the past 90 days. Batches at 80%+ cure progress appear under Cure Gate Today. Formulas blocked by missing or expiring stock appear under Stock Blocker Radar with specific deficit amounts.

Backup Export your local studio data as a JSON backup file, including formulas, stock, batches, readiness checks, and formula snapshots. You choose where to save or share the exported file.

Privacy Your core studio data is stored locally on your device. Lumelo uses requested permissions only for their stated purposes, such as batch photos, voice-to-text notes, backup export, and a more personalized app experience.
