Your to-do list has ten slots — and that's the point. Finish something to make
room. First10 keeps you focused on what actually matters today.
First10 To-Do is a to-do list with a hard limit: ten open tasks, never more.
Most to-do apps let your list grow forever — and the longer it gets, the less
it means. First10 flips that. You get ten slots. When they're full, the only
way to add something new is to finish (or let go of) something old. Your list
stops being a guilt pile and becomes a plan.
WHY TEN?
Ten is enough for everything that matters today and this week — and few enough
that every item stays visible, current, and real.
HOW IT WORKS
• Add a task with an optional note — until your ten slots are full
• Complete a task to free its slot (satisfying, every time)
• Changed your mind? Reopen a finished task — if a slot is free
• Delete what no longer matters, or clear everything you've completed
• A progress ring always shows how many slots you're using
• Tap the speaker to hear your day: today's targets, what's due, slots free
• Search everything — including what you finished weeks ago
• Give a task a context like Home or Work and filter; your ten stay your ten
• Drag to reorder your ten — or "Move to top" from a long-press
• Your tasks show up in Spotlight search; tap one to jump straight to it
• Export everything as a plain JSON file from Settings, any time
LATER, WITHOUT THE GUILT
• Capture an idea to Later without spending one of your ten
• Promote it when a slot frees up — Later never nags, never counts
REPEATS AND REMINDERS
• Daily, weekdays, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly — they come back when
they should
• An optional due time with a gentle reminder — no red badges, no shame
RIGHT ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• A widget showing your slots and what's next
• Tap a task in the widget to check it off — the app never has to open
FIRST10 PRO — one payment, yours for good
• Today's Three: star up to three of your ten as today's targets — finish all
three and the day is done
• Steps: break a task into small checkable steps inside its note — none of
them spend a slot
• Smart capture: type or say "call mom Friday 5pm" and the date files itself
• Morning brief and evening wrap, at times you choose — and Later triage, one
pick from Later with a reason whenever a slot frees up
• Focus timer: pick one of your ten, start the clock, and finish it — on your
Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island too, when Live Activities are on
• Later sweep: go through the oldest things in Later a handful at a time —
keep, drop or bring one into your ten, with one undo for the whole pass
• History & stats and a weekly reflection: what you finished, how long things
sat in your ten before you did them, your perfect-day streak — and a short,
honest read on the week, written on your iPhone
• An alternate app icon for each accent color
• iCloud Sync: the same ten on every iPhone and iPad, through your own iCloud
— turning it off, or a refund, never deletes anything
• Where your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence (iOS 26, iPhone 15 Pro or
later), Pro also adds the AI extras: an assistant you can talk to, voice
capture that tidies your words into a clean task, "what should I do now?",
and smarter suggestions for what to drop when the list is full
• The assistant always asks before deleting anything
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No sign-up. No tracking, no ads, no analytics.
• Your tasks stay on your iPhone — or, with Pro's iCloud Sync, in your own
iCloud, end to end, where we can't see them. We run no servers.
• The assistant uses Apple Intelligence, which runs entirely on your iPhone.
Made for people who are tired of infinite lists. The first ten things are the
