RIP Letters lets you write private letters to the people you love — letters meant to be read only after you're gone.

Write whenever you're ready. Add the people who matter most as recipients — a spouse, a child, a friend, anyone you want to leave something for. Nothing is ever sent while you're here, and you can keep writing, editing, and revising for as long as you're an active member.

RIP Letters checks in with you every 4 weeks. If you miss a check-in, you get 24 hours to confirm you're okay before anyone else is contacted. If you still don't respond, we reach out to your trusted contacts to ask what they know. A real person always reviews the case before any letter is released — nothing is ever released automatically.

Your letters are encrypted and stored securely, visible only to you until the day they're meant to be read.
