Meishitto isn't "scan and lock in": every contact you capture flows to your phone's address book, your photo library and your Google Drive.

■ Shoot it, and everything else is handled The moment a card is saved it is written out to your contacts, your photo library and your cloud backup. Three switches to set up, then nothing left to do by hand.

■ On-device scanning is free, forever, unlimited Text recognition runs on the device itself (Apple Vision). No network, no paywall, no per-scan cost.

■ AI refines the cards that are hard to read While your monthly AI allowance lasts, refinement runs automatically. When the allowance runs out it simply falls back to manual. Nothing is ever charged without you choosing it.

■ Multilingual cards, as they are Recognition covers Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean and English, plus German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Vietnamese — and Thai on iOS. The interface ships in 12 languages.

■ Tells you when you've already scanned someone If an email or phone number matches a card you already hold, you're told before any AI is spent. No duplicate entries. When you scan someone you already have, you can merge into the existing card — tags, notes and the last-contacted date stay put, and your phone's contacts don't end up with the same person twice.

■ Share your own card by QR Show your own card as a QR code; the person in front of you just scans it. You choose field by field what is public.

■ Fast with thousands of cards Sort by date or by name (reading-aware) and search instantly, however large your collection grows.

■ Your data, your ownership · Contacts → written to your phone's address book. Write-only by default; read access is requested only if you turn on two-way sync, and only to merge and remove entries · Card images → your photo library and your Google Drive (files this app created only / drive.file) · Full vCard (.vcf) export Card contents reach our servers only when you authorise it (cloud sync / AI connection — off by default, revocable anytime). During AI refinement they only pass through. The one thing we keep is a badly-read scan you choose to donate: held 30 days to improve recognition, with no record of who sent it.

■ Connect the AI you already use (Plus / Pro) Ask Claude or another AI to search your cards and read the details back. It can propose corrections, tags and removing a duplicate — proposing is where it stops, because your cards live on your phone. You choose: approve each proposal, or let a kind of change apply automatically (deletions have their own switch, off by default).

■ Two-way sync with your contacts (optional, off by default) Turn it on and a card merges into the contact you already have when the email or phone matches, so the same person never appears twice. Delete a card and the contact it created goes too. Matching happens on your device; nothing read is sent to our servers.

■ Widgets and Apple Wallet Put your card's QR on your home screen and Lock Screen. Add it to Apple Wallet and hand it over without opening the app.
