Features & Capabilities

Every episode, a different killer. Every clue, something you can actually find. No hints for sale — ever. Just a phone, a case, and however long it takes you to be sure.

Somebody is dead, and the only thing you have is their phone.

The Quiet Hour is a murder-mystery investigation played entirely through a simulated phone. You're Avery Quinn, forensic behavioral analyst, Halloway PD — and there's no menu, no case file screen, no "present evidence" button. Just the device: texts, calls, a warrant here and there, and whatever the suspects give away when you ask the wrong question at the right time.

HOW IT WORKS

• Text suspects and witnesses — you write what you actually want to ask, in your own words. There's no dialogue wheel. Push too hard or too soon and people notice.

• Call when it can't wait. A call presses harder than a text — and it costs you. Answered calls play out with real voice performances. Declined calls come with an excuse. Every excuse can be checked.

• Attach evidence like a person would — not from a menu, but right into the conversation. Show someone the wrong thing and they'll notice your hand. Show them the right thing and watch the story change.

• Mirror a suspect's phone once you've got a warrant: their messages, photos, call log, even what they thought they deleted. People lie. Their devices are worse at it.

• Build the board. Pin what you know, link what contradicts, and when it actually holds together — accuse. You don't get a second draft.

EIGHT CASES. EIGHT KILLERS.

One season, eight episodes, a different killer every time. The first case teaches you the job. The last one won't go easy on you.

WHAT WE PROMISE YOU

No unlock is ever invented. If a keyword opens a door, you were always able to find it first — in a message, a file, a headline, somewhere. Guessing the password isn't the game. Reading everything is.

Every excuse is checkable. If someone tells you they were at the gym, somewhere on their phone is the truth about whether that's real — because plenty of innocent people lie too, and the only fair way to find a killer is to check, not to guess who sounds guilty.

Purchases and ads only ever buy you time — never a clue, never a fact, never an answer. The Quiet Hour runs on a shift clock, not a wallet. When it runs out, watch a short ad and keep working, or buy the pass once and never see the ad again. That's the entire transaction. Nothing you can pay for gets you closer to the truth faster than actually working the case.

Somebody's phone is sitting on the desk. It's ten past three. Start reading.
