Mishkat is a prayer companion for daily Salah, with no account or sign-in required.

PRAYER TIMES, YOUR WAY View Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha for your location or a city you choose. Select from 20 calculation methods, including country-specific profiles. Choose Shafi’i or Hanafi Asr rules, high-latitude adjustments, and minute offsets for each prayer.

Some national-authority profiles refresh monthly timetables through AlAdhan and cache them locally, with an on-device calculation fallback when the network is unavailable.

QIBLA COMPASS Use your device’s heading sensors to orient toward the Kaaba, with alignment feedback and calibration guidance. A physical device with heading sensors is required.

HIJRI CALENDAR See Hijri and Gregorian dates together, Islamic events, and a one-day Hijri adjustment to follow local moonsighting.

ADHAN AND LOCAL REMINDERS The bundled Classic Adhan recording plays locally without streaming. Its attribution and CC BY-SA 3.0 licence are in Settings > Credits. Prayer reminders are scheduled locally, with per-prayer controls and advance reminders.

HOME-SCREEN WIDGETS On iOS 17 and later, use Small, Medium, and Large widgets or the Small Prayer Ring. Widgets read a local snapshot without making network requests.

MAKE IT YOURS Choose a light or dark appearance and a named accent color. Mishkat supports English, Arabic with right-to-left layout, and French.

PRIVACY No ads, analytics SDK, advertising identifiers, or tracking. Manual city search uses Apple Maps autocomplete and lookup. Coordinates may be sent to the map provider and timetable service when you use those features. You can choose a city manually without granting location permission.

Prayer times and Hijri dates are estimates based on the selected method, location, device time, and settings. Follow your local mosque or recognized authority when its announcements or moonsighting observances differ.
