EXPLORE THE ARCHIVE

• Browse albums, galleries and photographs.
• Search for people, places and moments using text or voice.
• Filter and sort photographs to find what you are looking for.
• View photographs in full screen and explore details with pinch-to-zoom.
• Discover videos by category and listen to audio recordings.
• Explore the interactive book index and open the galleries linked to its entries.
• Read gallery descriptions and related index information where available.

KEEP MEMORIES CLOSE

• Mark favourite photographs with a heart and find them quickly in Favorites.
• Access your favourites on another device when signed in with the same account.
• Save and share photographs, or print them directly from the app, where permitted.
• View available titles, descriptions and tags.

STAY INFORMED

• Find archive announcements and personal support updates through the notification bell.
• Revisit announcements in the Message centre.
• See which messages are new and which you have already read.
• Receive important archive announcements as dismissible startup messages.
• Keep read status separate on each device, even when an account is shared.

GET HELP DIRECTLY IN THE APP

• Search the expanded Help and guidance.
• Submit a private support report using guided problem categories.
• Review the app, device and account information included before sending.
• Read support replies, follow your report's status and respond in the same conversation.
• Delete your own reports when they are no longer needed.

CONTRIBUTE AND ORGANISE

Members with the appropriate permissions can use Archive Management to:

• Add photographs and videos.
• Create albums, galleries and video categories.
• Organise galleries within albums and photographs within galleries.
• Edit photograph information and organise existing videos.
• Filter managed photographs by gallery and videos by category.
• Rename videos and create categories while uploading or reorganising.
• Upload large videos with transfer recovery and cancellation controls.
• Send archive announcements or manage support tickets when separately authorised.

DESIGNED FOR IPHONE AND IPAD

Consistent navigation, comfortable touch controls, adjustable text sizes and layouts for iPhone and iPad make the archive easier to explore. Clearer connection messages help you understand when your device is offline or the archive is temporarily unavailable.

PRIVATE, PERMISSION-BASED ACCESS

An authorised archive account is required. Available content and management functions depend on the permissions assigned to that account. Not every user has access to every feature.

Support reports are stored on the archive server and are accessible to the reporting account and authorised support staff. In-app announcements and ticket indicators refresh while the app is open or when you return to it; they are not background push notifications.

An internet connection is required to access and synchronise archive content.
