A little cat has moved in to keep you company.

It naps on the island, bubbles up a fish icon when hungry, and you can feed and pet it right from the Lock Screen. It also slips out on its own — chasing butterflies, climbing rooftops, staring down the orange cat in the alley all afternoon. Go out and find it, or wait for it to come home with a postcard and a diary entry.

IT'S ALIVE

• It writes diaries: every trip ends with a one-of-a-kind entry (generated by on-device Apple Intelligence; older devices use a built-in library)
• It chats: aloof but secretly clingy, and it remembers your shared memories
• It has personality: lazy, lively, aloof, foodie, or timid — decided by fate at adoption

LONGING AND SURPRISES

• It leaves whenever it wants: a half-hour stroll or a three-day journey, with letters sent along the way
• Find your cat: dusk alleys, rooftops... it's hiding behind some box, just a tail showing
• If it gets lost, send a Lost Cat Notice so friends can help look

MEMORIES STAY

• Photo album, postcard collection, souvenirs
• A cat's life has farewells, but the album and memories stay forever
