Lunar Defense Managed

Lunar Defense Managed is deployed by IT and security providers for their clients. It requires an activation code from your provider. If you don't have one, this app is not for you; check out Lunar Defense Mobile Security on the App Store instead.

Once activated, Lunar Defense Managed helps you and your provider understand the security of your device without sacrificing your privacy. Run a sweep at any time to verify device integrity, inspect your network environment, and identify signs that may indicate tampering, interception, or unauthorized modification. Check a suspicious link before you tap it. Every result includes a clear explanation of what was checked, what was found, and what it means. Lunar Defense performs its analysis directly on your device. Your scan results and personal information stay on your phone.

FEATURES

• Device integrity checks, network security analysis, the on-device link checker, QR link safety, and clear plain-language security reports. (Link checker requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on.)

• Automatic background scans and instant threat alerts are included with your provider's license. There is no subscription and nothing to purchase in this app.

• A tamper-evident record of meaningful security events on your device — findings that appear, escalate, or clear. The log records verdicts and indicators only, never your messages, browsing, or personal content, and it stays on your device.

• When you're on a call with your provider, a technician view shows the detailed event timeline. Any time that view is opened, a permanent entry is written into your own log noting that it was viewed, and when.

• Your license verifies on-device and keeps working without connectivity for extended periods — built for jobsites and travel.

• Analysis is performed on-device. Scan results are not uploaded or shared. Your provider issues and manages your license; licensing and log-integrity verification are the only functions that contact Lunar Defense.
