The Letter Journey

An educational app with no ads and no tracking. Three games for learning the Hebrew letters and vowel marks (nikud) for early childhood.

Nikud for Kids is an educational app that teaches children ages 3–6 the Hebrew letters and the vowel marks (nikud) — in a calm, clear, and playful way.

Three activities:

The Letters — each letter on its own, on a clean black background. You drag a vowel mark onto the letter, and it gains "power" — a sound, a color, and motion. This way the child learns that the nikud is what gives the letter its voice.

Open the Door — a little game: a creature hides behind the door, and the password to open it is the correct syllable. The child listens, assembles the nikud, and opens it.

Reading exercises — real words with an illustration and full nikud. Pressing the button reads the word syllable by syllable, with each syllable lighting up as it is heard.

What the app does not have:
