Decipher is an AI-powered tool for analysing media content. It assesses the journalistic quality and the persuasive potential of texts, web articles, YouTube videos and podcasts.

The tool systematically examines the content you paste against eight recognised journalistic principles (from the German Press Code / UK Editors' Code of Practice) and eight dimensions for detecting persuasive techniques. The result is reasoned, evidence-based pointers across 16 criteria, distilled into two grades on a scale of 1 to 6 — a basis for forming your own view and for discussion. Where the first assessment isn't enough, three optional deep-dive modules are available: a fact check that verifies each checkable claim individually against external sources; a source check that opens every linked source and compares it against the article's statements; and video source detection that captures logos, quotes and documents shown in the video with timestamps and finds the original sources.
