Your favorite image can become the reason you start one more question.

CharaBen is an iPhone study app where you create a study partner inspired by your favorite character—or “oshi”—using your own image, name, expressions, and lines, then study with decks you make yourself. Crop images by dragging and zooming, with transparent PNG backgrounds preserved. Your character reacts with different expressions and messages when you answer correctly, miss a question, build a streak, or finish a session.

Switch on Intense effects to bring neon color to questions, choices, and results. It adds a game-like sense of focus to everyday memorization and exam preparation.

Create multiple-choice questions and flashcards directly in the app, or use the included prompts with an external generative AI service and import the resulting JSON. CharaBen does not connect directly to an AI service.

Turn question explanations and deck overviews into infographics featuring your character, then save them for quick review. You can also copy prompts for creating infographic images with an external generative AI service.

Decks, study records, character settings, images, and audio are stored on your device. Backups let you export the data you need as one file and restore it later.
