Harbor Pulse reads the two rhythms each coast maintains – the water and the light – and outputs them both directly to your device, without the need for a signal.

Two instruments live inside, and that's how each instrument works.

Tidal glass

1. Enter a high tide time you already know for your location, then set the tide range and average level.
2. Choose semi-diurnal (two tides per day) or diurnal (one).
3. Read the curve for an entire day: the water level at the moment, whether it is rising or falling, and any upcoming highs and lows.

Sundial

1. Give a port its latitude and longitude and choose a date.
2. Watch the sun follow its arc across the sky.
3. Get sunrise, sunset and solar noon, plus the golden hour, the blue hour, the three twilights and the exact length of the day.

Save any place as a port and both tools will share it. Open a harbor to see the tide and the sun side by side, change the altitude between meters and feet or the clock between 12 and 24 hours, and share the state of affairs. Each figure is calculated offline based on established tidal and solar energy formulas, so think of the results as clear planning estimates for your time on the water.
