Gen Z newcomers in Surabaya struggle to decide where to go, not because the city lacks options but because narrowing those options down is exhausting. Recommendations are scattered across social media apps and none of it is organized around what a specific person actually needs, forcing users to stitch sources together and filter manually. Validating what they find is just as hard: Google reviews are unstructured, inconsistent, and tedious to read, while asking a friend is unreliable when tastes differ or when there is no local circle to ask yet. Even after a place is chosen, planning stalls on picking the right time and coordinating schedules with friends. This project exists to close that gap, giving newcomers trustworthy, preference-matched place recommendations with planning and group coordination built into the same flow.
