It runs entirely on your device. iPhones with Apple Intelligence use the system model — nothing to download, nothing stored. Every other iPhone can add an optional on-device model. Scanned documents are read with on-device OCR, so photographed and faxed paperwork works too.

SIGN WITHOUT PRINTING Sign with your finger, or type your name and pick a handwriting style. Either way your signature is stored as strokes and letterforms, never as a photo, so it stays crisp at any zoom and adds almost nothing to the file.

Your signature is baked into the page itself rather than floated on top as an annotation. It survives compression, it survives being emailed, and nobody can drag it off the page in another app.

MARK UP LIKE PAPER Highlight passages, draw freehand, and drop in text boxes you can stretch to any shape. Undo anything, all the way back.

TEXT STAYS SHARP Most compressors re-encode every page and hand you a blurry file — sometimes a bigger one. PDF Squeeze tries a vector-preserving pass first, which keeps text crisp and selectable. Pages are only re-rendered when that actually saves space, and your file never comes out larger than it went in.

HIT AN EXACT SIZE Email limit? Upload portal cap? Switch to Target Size, pick 1, 2, 5, 10, or 25 MB, and PDF Squeeze searches for the best quality that fits just under it. If a target is impossible, it says so honestly and gives you the smallest file it can.
