Features & Capabilities

Aim your iPhone at running machinery — see WHERE it vibrates and the frequency in Hz, all from a distance. No sensors to mount. Pay once — no subscription, no ads.

Point your iPhone at a running machine and see its vibration: a live color overlay shows WHERE it shakes, and a readout shows how fast, in Hz. No sensors to mount, no contact, no cables. VibraLens measures through the camera, from a distance.

WHAT YOU SEE VibraLens processes high-frame-rate video (up to 240 fps) in real time and paints a frequency-colored overlay directly on the camera image. Anything moving periodically lights up in the color of its frequency, so you can see at a glance which part of a machine, mount, panel, or pipe is vibrating — and at what rate. A live readout tracks the dominant frequency in Hz, and the RPM equivalent is one mental step away: 60 Hz = 3,600 RPM.

WHO USES IT • HVAC techs — spot a wobbling blower wheel or an out-of-balance condenser fan before pulling a panel, then confirm the fix afterward. • Maintenance techs and engineers — find WHERE the vibration lives on a motor, pump, or gearbox: the frame, the coupling side, a mounting foot, a loose guard. • Home and property inspectors — document a shaking furnace blower or a buzzing duct with an evidence video, legend and frequency readout burned in. • Machine shops — sanity-check a spindle or a belt-driven speed by its frequency signature. • Serious DIY — figure out why the washing machine walks across the floor, which ceiling fan blade wobbles, whether the pool pump runs rough, or what speed the bench grinder really turns.

FEATURES • Live frequency-colored overlay: see where periodic motion is happening • Dominant-frequency readout in Hz — reliable band roughly 8–115 Hz (about 480–6,900 RPM equivalent) • Records evidence video with the color legend and readout burned in, ready to share with a client or a work order • LO/HI band filters and a sensitivity threshold to isolate the motion you care about • Mains flicker rejection for 50/60 Hz lighting • Built-in torch control for dim mechanical rooms • Works at a distance — you never touch or attach anything to running machinery

HONEST LIMITS — READ BEFORE BUYING VibraLens measures frequency, not amplitude. It will not give you mm/s, mils, severity grades, or go/no-go verdicts. Its reliable band is roughly 8–115 Hz; faster vibration is beyond what a phone camera can resolve. It needs light — it cannot see in darkness. It is a screening and troubleshooting aid, not a replacement for a calibrated contact instrument or a certified inspection. And never attach your phone to machinery — the entire point of VibraLens is that you don't have to.

PRIVACY 100% on-device processing. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your video never leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it.

PRICE One-time purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no upsells. Buy it and use it for years.

Requires an iPhone with iOS 16.6 or later. Best results with the target reasonably lit and the phone held steady or braced.
