Features & Capabilities

One payment. No subscription. Import from any site — even the ones that block other apps.

Cooking one recipe is easy. Cooking four of them — of four different lengths, on two rings and one oven — and having them all be hot at the same moment is the actual hard part of dinner, and no recipe app has ever helped you with it.

Trivet does.

THE BOARD

Put every dish of tonight's dinner on one timeline. Tell Trivet when you want to eat. It back-solves every start time from there: the roast at 18:30, the potatoes at 19:15, the beans at 19:54, all of it landing hot at eight o'clock.

Then drag the dinner line with your thumb. Everything slides live underneath it. Pull it earlier than the roast can manage and the roast turns red — you can feel the dinner become impossible, and feel it come back to life when you let it down again. No list can do that.

It knows things nobody else bothers to tell you: • A resting joint is out of the oven — so the potatoes can have it. • The oven holds three trays and exactly ONE temperature. If the chicken wants 200° and the tart wants 160°, Trivet sees the clash an hour before you do. • Once you have started, there is only ever one next thing. It tells you that, and nothing else.

RECIPES THAT ACTUALLY IMPORT

Three ways in, and the last one always works.

• Share from Safari. The page is already open in your browser, so there is nothing for a website to block. This is the part that breaks in older apps — they ask the site's server for the page and get refused. Trivet never asks. • Paste a link. It opens in a real browser, not a scraper. • Photograph it. A cookbook page, a card in your grandmother's handwriting, a screenshot someone sent you. Read on your phone, and the photo never leaves it.

Trivet reads the cooking time, the resting time and the oven temperature straight out of the recipe's own instructions — so an imported recipe lands on the board ready to cook, and you type nothing.

A SHOPPING LIST THAT ADDS UP

200 g of butter for the cake and 50 g for the sauce is 250 g of butter, on one line, once. Every other recipe app keeps the raw text and hands you three onions on three separate lines to add up in the queue.

COOK MODE

Big type. The step you are on stays lit. The screen does not go dark in the middle of a roux.

YOUR RECIPES ARE YOURS

No account. No server. No sync to go wrong, and nobody who can go quiet on you. Everything is on your phone, and Export gives you the lot as plain, readable JSON whenever you like — including the day you decide to leave.

FREE, AND HONEST ABOUT IT

Free forever: unlimited recipes, all three ways to import, cook mode, the shopping list, export. Trivet Pro, one payment: the whole dinner on one board.

One payment. Not a subscription. Not ever.
