Features & Capabilities

Train your musical ear through interactive listening, playing, rhythm, and notation exercises that adjust to your practice.

Auralis is an interactive music practice studio built around listening, movement, and repetition. Instead of learning only through definitions and diagrams, you work directly with sound. Listen to a musical pattern, identify what you hear, reproduce it on the keyboard, follow the notation, or tap the rhythm back in time. At the centre of each session is a responsive piano keyboard paired with a live musical staff. Notes are synthesised as you practise, allowing exercises to change dynamically rather than relying on a fixed library of recordings. Practice begins with clear fundamentals and gradually introduces more detailed musical relationships. The skill path moves through intervals, triads, seventh chords, scales, modes, cadences, notation, and increasingly complex rhythms. Exercise types include: • Identify intervals by ear • Recognise chords and chord qualities • Distinguish scales and modes • Read notes directly from the staff • Repeat melodies on the keyboard • Tap rhythmic patterns • Sing or play back what you hear • Connect written notation with sound Before a new topic begins, compact theory cards explain the idea behind it. These lessons focus on how musical structures sound, how they are written, and how they relate to the keyboard. Practice sessions respond to your previous answers. Material that caused difficulty can appear more frequently, while familiar patterns are reviewed at wider intervals. This creates a more focused routine without requiring you to configure each session manually. Detailed progress views show accuracy across individual intervals, chord types, and other exercise groups. Error maps make it easier to see which sounds are often confused, while practice history, achievements, and gentle daily streaks provide a record of consistency. You can adjust the tempo and choose from different synthesised instrument tones to make sessions more comfortable and varied. Auralis works entirely offline. Exercises, progress, and settings remain on your device. The app contains no advertisements, subscriptions, accounts, or push notifications.
