Honest Hockey is off-ice training for youth hockey. The work between practices, finally done and finally visible.

A coach (or a solo player) sets the program: shooting, off-ice fitness, and stretching, with real targets. Players log the effort they actually put in, on their honor. Streaks, progress, and a Grind Score keep them coming back, and the coach sees who's doing the work without chasing anyone. A critical component for players to learn are the plays your team actually runs. A coach switches on the systems they use forechecks, breakouts, faceoff with each player watching from their own position, drawn to scale on a full sheet with the coaching read spoken out loud. Watching is learning, understanding and not just from a whiteboard.
