A social client for Bluesky
Your Bluesky, in columns. Follow the feeds, lists, searches and people you care about side by side, and never lose the thread again.
Deck³ turns Bluesky into a deck of live(ish) columns on your iPhone and iPad. Home timeline, a custom feed, a list, notifications, DMs: all open at the same time, updating in real time, for people who live chronically online. And for people who loved Tweetdeck when it was a thing.
On iPad the columns sit side by side, and the deck scrolls when you open more than the screen holds. On iPhone one column fills the screen, the tab bar covers home, notifications, search, messages and your profile, and the rest of the deck is one swipe from the left edge. Easy as that.
Your columns
- Open what you want: home, saved feeds, lists, search, bookmarks, notifications, messages, profiles.
- Drag a column to reorder it. Close what you don't need.
- Pause a column to hold it still while you read. Refresh just that one, or the whole deck.
Live, no interruptions
Your home timeline livestreams posts by default. A new post shows up the second it goes out, and if you've scrolled down it waits behind a "new posts" pill instead of shoving everything down and making you lose your place. Any search can become a live column too: a hashtag, a topic, whatever your heart desires, arriving in real time.
Writing posts
- Replies, quotes and reposts in a real text editor, so you can actually land the irony of italics or the punch of bold or the... linky of linkness?
- @mentions and #hashtags that autocomplete as you type.
- Images with alt text. Video and links show up as cards, not a bare ugly URL.
- Drafts saved on the device and synced with your account.
- You decide who can reply and what language a post goes out in before you hit publish.
Feeds, lists and discovery
- See what's trending, browse feeds worth trying, and save the good ones straight into your deck.
- Build lists, read them as columns, add or remove people right from a profile.
- Bookmark a post and it sits in its own column until you decide what the hell to do with it.
- Open a starter pack and follow everyone in it at once.
- Tap a like or repost count and every name behind it shows up, with a badge next to anyone who follows you back.
Activity on your terms
- Choose which kinds reach you: likes, reposts, follows, mentions, quotes, replies.
- Narrow any of them to just the people you follow.
- Ask to be pinged the moment a specific account posts.
- It all syncs with your Bluesky account, so it holds wherever you sign in.
Direct messages
Read and answer your DMs without leaving the app. A tab on iPhone, a column next to everything else on iPad.
Moderation
- Report a post or an account. Block, mute, or silence an entire thread.
- Tune your filters and the labelers you subscribe to.
- Every choice syncs back to your account.
Made for the thing in your hand
- Post straight from the Shortcuts app.
- Shake to undo a like, a repost or a bookmark.
- Plug a keyboard into an iPad and j and k move through posts, o opens a thread, r replies, l likes, ⌘N starts a new post.
- Light, dark or automatic. Five accent colors. A layout that respects your text size and Reduce Motion.
More than one account
Sign in with as many accounts as you have. Each one keeps its own columns, and you choose which one you're posting as.
About your data
Your login lives in the device Keychain, and the app only talks to Bluesky, plus one anonymous usage service that shows me which features people actually use.
- No personal data collected. No unique identifier tied to you or your account.
- Nothing in that usage data can be traced back to a person.
- No ads. No third-party code selling anything about you.
- You can switch it off entirely in Settings, if you'd rather I didn't see it.
Deck³ is an independent client. Bluesky didn't build it and doesn't endorse it. You'll still need a Bluesky account to sign in.
