Daily Mood Check-Ins Share how your day is going with your partner in one tap — a mood and a short note if you want to say more. See how they're doing too, right on your Home Screen.

Streaks, Built for Two Every day you both show up, your streak grows. Reach milestones at 3, 7, 14, 30, 50, and 100 days. Miss a day by accident and a streak freeze protects your progress.

Milestones and Countdowns Add birthdays, your anniversary, and any custom date that matters to your relationship. Get a reminder the day before, add the event straight to your Calendar, and watch a live countdown on a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget.

Gift Hints Save hints about what you'd love as a gift. Your partner can see them whenever they need a nudge — specific enough to help, subtle enough to keep the surprise.

Home Screen and Lock Screen Widgets Dote adds real widgets, not just a shortcut icon: a days-together counter, your partner's current mood, and a milestone countdown you choose yourself. Add more than one, and pick a different photo background for your widgets than the one you use inside the app.

Notifications That Make Sense Daily reminders to check in, a gentle nudge if your partner has gone quiet, and a heads-up the day before an important date — nothing more than that.

Secure Pairing Sign in with Apple or Google, then pair with your partner using a private invite code. Dote is built for one couple at a time.

DOTE PLUS

Dote is free to use. Dote Plus is an optional subscription that adds unlimited streak freezes (the free plan includes one per week), your full mood history (the free plan keeps the last 14 days), unlimited suggestion refreshes for date night ideas, and priority access to date night suggestions.

Dote Plus is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, from $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year (price may vary by region and is shown in the app before you subscribe). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to that. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings, under your Apple ID.

HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA

We collect only what Dote needs to work: your account details, and the mood entries and milestones you and your partner share with each other. If you allow notifications, we store a device token to send them. Any photo you set as a background is stored only on your device, never uploaded to our servers. We use Firebase Analytics to understand overall app usage, and we do not use any advertising or tracking SDK. We never sell your data, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
