Your day is a place, not a button — and the picture of it is made out of it. Coffee moves your energy, not your mood. Hued is the tracker that can tell the difference.
Every other mood tracker asks you to pick one of five faces. Hued asks you to put your day somewhere.
Touch anywhere in the square. How far up you touch is how heavy the day was. How far right is how restless it was. That's one tap — a complete entry — but there are infinitely many places to put it, so two people who both felt "good" still end up with different days.
And the square you touched is not a swatch. It IS your day. It takes your colour, your turbulence, and — as you add what happened — a bloom for every single thing. Exercise pushes the light up. A bad night's sleep sinks it. The picture is made out of the day, which means it cannot flatter you: it isn't a drawing of your entry, it IS your entry.
Do that for a year and you have 365 of them. No two alike, and the whole thing readable at a glance.
DRAW YOUR DAY
The colour is the canvas. Open the day and draw on it — a face, the weather, the fight, the good coffee. Real ink (pen, marker, monoline), six colours picked to read on every mood. Your year becomes a gallery of little pictures: pinch out and it's a texture of colour, pinch in and the drawings resolve, tap one and the day opens.
THE SENTENCE NOBODY ELSE CAN SAY
Because a day is two numbers instead of one, Hued can find things a five-point scale is blind to:
"Coffee moves your energy, not your mood — and we won't pretend it does."
"Slept well: mood +20, energy -15."
Sleeping well doesn't just lift you, it settles you. Doomscrolling doesn't just drag you down, it winds you up. One number could never have found that.
AND IT REFUSES TO GUESS
Every figure comes with the number of days it rests on. Nothing is shown until there are at least 14 entries, and at least 5 days with an activity and 5 without. A difference has to be both large AND bigger than its own margin of error — a small gap measured across a handful of days is a coin flip, not a pattern, and Hued will say "not enough data yet" rather than invent a number.
Tap the info button on any insight and you can read exactly how it was calculated. The whole method is in the app, in plain language.

TURN OFF THE STREAK
Counting days makes some people log and makes others quit. If it feels like a chore, switch streaks off in Settings. Nothing else changes.
Hued is a personal journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and the patterns it shows are patterns in your own entries - not causes. For questions about your health, talk to a healthcare professional.
