Film Buddy is a field companion for analog photographers.

Open the app directly to a reflected-light meter—no account required. Choose aperture or shutter priority, set film ISO, use average or spot metering, apply exposure compensation, lock a reading, and calibrate the meter for your iPhone and workflow.

Buddy Log is an optional, account-backed notebook for tracking film rolls and individual frames. Record film stock, rated ISO, camera, lens, format, development notes, exposure settings, tags, and favorites. Entries write to the iPhone first so the log remains useful offline, then synchronize privately when you sign in to a confirmed Film Buddy account.

Create and manage your Film Buddy account inside the app. Email confirmation and password recovery use secure Film Buddy links that can be completed on the iPhone or another device. Every confirmed account receives owner-only Buddy Log access; Mac beta approval and Mac device seats do not control the iPhone app.
