YOUR NUTRITION DATA STAYS YOURS

Your meals, nutrition history, profile, targets, favorites, custom foods, and settings are stored on your iPhone. Joule sends data off device only for an explicitly requested network feature, such as Meal Photo or, when available after separate consent, the minimum selected context for Mara. Request content is processed statelessly and is not stored by Joule’s service.

Meal Photo analysis is always optional. When you choose it, your photo is sent securely for analysis and immediately discarded. Every estimate includes its assumptions and remains fully editable before logging.

After onboarding, access to Joule requires a Joule Plus subscription. Weekly, monthly, and yearly plans are available. Any introductory trial for which Apple reports you eligible is shown before purchase. Restore Purchases, legal links, sign out, and account deletion remain available from the subscription screen.
