Lost something on a train, bus or public transit? FundRadar automatically searches matching found reports and helps you get your belongings back faster.
LOST SOMETHING? FUNDRADAR HELPS YOU GET IT BACK.
Left your phone on a train? Forgot your backpack on the S-Bahn? Lost your wallet on the bus? Or found something someone else lost?
FundRadar is the lost-and-found app for public transport in Germany. Report lost or found items and get matched automatically – from ICE, IC and regional trains to S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and bus.
HOW IT WORKS
PICK THE CONNECTION
Search for your station or stop and pick the actual connection from the timetable – train, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram or bus.
REPORT A LOSS OR A FIND
Describe the lost or found item. Category, description and an optional photo – done in under 60 seconds.
AUTOMATIC MATCHING
FundRadar compares your lost report with new found reports around the clock, considering mode of transport, line, time, station, color and brand.
GET YOUR MATCH
When a found report matches your lost item, you get a push notification and see the match score. Use the protected 1:1 chat that opens with the match to arrange the handover with the finder – without exchanging phone numbers or email addresses.
WHAT MAKES FUNDRADAR SPECIAL
• Germany-wide: trains and local public transport – over 500,000 stops and 20,000 lines in the timetable
• Automatic search: your lost report stays active for 60 days and keeps searching for matching finds
• Match score: instantly see how well a found item matches your report
• Protected chat: opens only after a mutual match, with no contact details shared
• Safe handover: verification questions help confirm the rightful owner
• Moderated reports: every report is reviewed before going live
• Free for finders: reporting found items and helping return them is free
FREQUENTLY LOST OR FOUND
Phones, wallets, keys, backpacks and bags, luggage, AirPods and headphones, glasses, umbrellas, documents and toys.
PRIVACY FIRST
Your data is stored GDPR-compliant in Frankfurt, Germany. Photos of found items stay blurred until both sides confirm. You can delete your account any time directly in the app.
GOOD TO KNOW
FundRadar complements official lost property offices and the DB Fundservice but does not replace them. Statutory reporting and hand-over obligations for found items (§ 965, § 978 German Civil Code) remain in place. FundRadar is independent and not affiliated with Deutsche Bahn AG or any transport association.
Lost? Found. Reunited.
