Nobody has to download the app. You can add people as local members and handle the split yourself — perfect for when not everyone in the group wants another app on their phone.

SPLIT IT HOWEVER IS FAIR Not every bill splits down the middle. In TakeControl, you choose:

Equally between everyone By percentage, when people are chipping in different shares By exact amount, when one person ordered dessert and the other didn't With more than one person paying the same expense

DEBT SIMPLIFICATION Instead of everyone paying everyone, the app reorganizes the balances and shows the fewest transfers needed to zero out the group. Nobody pays more or less — just fewer times.
