Hidden Camera Detector: WiFi

Hidden Camera Detector helps you look for signs of possible spy cameras, hidden microphones and unknown wireless devices, using the sensors already built into your iPhone.

PLEASE READ FIRST This app is a scanning aid, not professional security equipment. It cannot detect every device, it cannot see inside walls or objects, and it cannot guarantee that a room is free of hidden cameras or other surveillance. Everything the app shows is an indication that deserves a closer look with your own eyes — never proof. If you believe you are being monitored, contact local authorities.

THE TOOLS

1. MAGNETIC FIELD METER — one free scan, then paid Reads the iPhone magnetometer and shows field strength in µT as you sweep a surface. Electronics contain magnets and metal, so a reading well above the background level is worth a closer look — but so are speakers, hinges, screws and pipes.

2. LENS REFLECTION VIEWER — paid Uses the camera and a bright screen so you can look for the small glint a lens can throw back. Glass, polished plastic and metal reflect too, so treat every highlight as something to inspect by hand.

3. WI-FI DEVICES — paid Lists devices on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to and marks the ones advertising video services or matching known camera vendors. Routers, printers, TVs and NAS boxes are often marked as well. Devices on another network, or cameras that record to an SD card, cannot appear here.

4. BLUETOOTH DEVICES — paid Lists nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices with signal strength so you can walk toward one and identify it. Headphones, watches and speakers show up here too.

GUIDED ROOM SCAN — paid A step-by-step checklist of the most common hiding spots: bed, TV, smoke alarm, outlets, mirror, bathroom.

PRIVACY • No account, no sign-up • Nothing you scan leaves your phone • The magnetic and lens tools work offline

SUBSCRIPTION Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
