Build the maze, top the board
Today's maze is live. Same towers, same creeps, same boss for every player alive, and at midnight it is gone for good. Go and read it better than they did.
Everyone plays the same maze today. Same layout, same towers, same creeps, same boss waiting at the end of it. Tomorrow the whole thing gets thrown out and redrawn. There is no grinding one level for a week here. There is today, and how well you read it.
Daykeep is a maze tower defense game. Creeps pour out of the portals and take the shortest path they can find to your keep. Every tower you plant is a wall as much as a weapon, so you bend that path, stretch it, fold it back on itself, and line the whole miserable detour with damage. You can never wall them out completely. You can absolutely ruin their day.
The catch is that the day picks your toolkit. Five towers, chosen for you, out of fifteen. Some mornings you get a beautiful engine. Some mornings you get frost, spikes and a prayer. Figuring out what today's hand is secretly good at is the whole game. Tower defense as a daily puzzle, with the same board for everyone and no edge except reading it better.
WHAT YOU ARE UP AGAINST
- Creeps that come fast, come tough, or come flying, wearing one of 31 different critter families. You will keep meeting ones you have never seen.
- A boss every five waves, and it does not care how nice your maze is.
- Damage matchups you cannot see. The tower that did nothing yesterday might shred everything tonight.
BUILD, THEN PANIC ELEGANTLY
- Lay traps on the walkways: oil, spikes, frost, shock plates, and a fence they would rather walk around. Flyers laugh at every one of them.
- Park a support next to your best shooter to make it hit harder, reach further or fire faster.
- Upgrade what is working. Sell what is embarrassing you.
- Feeling brave? Call the next wave in early for extra gold. Feeling smug? Run the whole thing at 5x.
- Hoard powerups for the moment it goes sideways. Freeze the board solid. Overcharge every tower. Call in an airstrike. Snipe a boss clean off the map.
TWO WAYS TO LOSE
- Endless: twenty lives, no finish line, see how far today carries you.
- Timed: thirty waves, clock running, fast is the entire point.
EVERYONE IS ON YOUR BOARD
- Daily leaderboards for both modes, plus weekly and monthly tables for people who keep turning up.
- Beat someone and send them the run. Your link drops them onto that exact day with your score sitting there to chase.
- Achievements to chip away at, fresh quests every day, and a streak that pays better the longer you keep it alive.
MAKE IT YOURS
- Reskin the entire world: candy, neon, pirate, cosmic, haunted and a dozen more. Towers, creeps and terrain all change with it.
- Or throw a filter over the screen, from crisp and vivid to full retro CRT.
Pixel art and chiptune, remixed for the day, so no two mornings look or sound quite the same.
One account follows you between platforms, linked via optional email.
Gems come from playing well. Buy some if you want to, though the leaderboard has never once asked how you got them.
Tower defense usually rewards the player with the most time. This one rewards the player who read today right. Come back tomorrow: new maze, new towers, everybody starting from nothing again.
