The alarm you can't cheat
Lark is the alarm that doesn't take "five more minutes" for an answer.
Snoozing isn't a willpower problem. It's a negotiation you hold at your weakest moment. Lark ends it: your alarm keeps ringing until you prove you're actually up.
HOW YOU PROVE IT
Pick your mission. When the alarm rings, completing it is the only way to silence it:
• Item Search: Lark picks one of your things (toothbrush, coffee mug, mirror) and you hunt it down with your camera
• Exercise: push-ups, sit-ups, or squats, counted rep by rep by your camera
• Scan a Code: stick a QR code in the bathroom and let the walk be the mission
• Speak Your Line: read your morning affirmation out loud
• Quick Math: wake your brain up, no camera needed
Dismiss it without finishing and Lark re-alarms. Getting up stops being optional. It becomes the shortest path back to silence.
MEET YOUR LARK
Your companion is a little origami bird that grows with your streak: Hatchling, Fledgling, Songbird, Soaring, and at 30 straight mornings the Golden Lark. Win and it flies. Lose one and it droops. Yes, you'll feel it. (Every 7th straight win banks a streak freeze, so one rough morning won't undo a great month.)
YOUR ISLAND
Your bird lives somewhere, and every morning you win makes it more. Wins pay seeds, seeds buy land: tap the water and the coast pushes out where you asked, hills rising as it grows. Arrange it however you like. Overgrowth sprouts overnight and pulling it pays seeds back; a chest washes up the morning after a win. A place only you could have, because nobody else woke up the same mornings.
VISIT EACH OTHER
Friends who won today turn up on your island, name and level over their head. Open yours and they can walk around it: the coast you bought, the things you placed, the bird you raised.
LEADERBOARDS
Reach level 5 and the rankings open. See where you stand against your friends, your country, and everyone else waking up with Lark, by XP, streak, wins, or best run.
GROW YOUR FLOCK
Medals hatch new birds: cardinal, blue jay, raven, owl, seagull, flying fish, pterodactyl, and at 30 straight mornings the phoenix. Nine in all, each growing up its own way, so a new companion is a whole new road. Dress them from the wardrobe (the cowboy hat is on the house) and pick the sky they fly in.
WIN YOUR MORNINGS
Every mission ends in a Morning Win: your streak, your time from ring to done, how you compare to your own average. Wins pay XP, with bonuses for rising early and finishing fast, and the Journey tab keeps score: your level, your evolution path, 18 medals, your consistency ring, and a morning-by-morning log.
BUILT FOR THE NIGHT BEFORE
Every evening, Lark confirms tomorrow's alarm is armed and tells you the bedtime that buys a full night's sleep. No surprises at 6 AM. Put the widget on your home screen and your streak and next alarm are there without opening it.
REAL ALARMS
Built on Apple's AlarmKit, Lark rings like the built-in Clock: through Silent mode, through Focus. A real alarm, not a notification pretending to be one.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No tracking. No ads. Alarms and missions run entirely on this device and never depend on a network to ring. Camera frames are processed on-device, never stored or uploaded. Spoken missions use on-device speech recognition whenever your device supports it. Sign-in is optional, and everything still works without it. With an account, your bird, streaks, island, and alarms back up securely, so a new iPhone brings your whole morning protocol with you. Delete your account in Settings any time and your data goes with it.
THE DEAL
Try everything free for 3 days. If Lark keeps getting you up, a subscription keeps it that way: weekly or yearly, through your Apple ID, cancel anytime. Cosmetics (hats, wing trails, premium skies) are optional one-time purchases, never required to wake up.
The alarm you can't cheat. Tomorrow's you says thanks.
