Write in your language, the other person reads in theirs. Get a message you don't understand? Read it anyway. ChiaroTraslate is the keyboard built for cross-language conversations on WhatsApp, WeChat, dating apps and social — it all happens inside the chat, no app-switching.

HOW IT WORKS ChiaroTraslate opens with a START screen and offline base controls (ABC, space, delete and return), available without Full Access and without a network connection. Use ABC to switch to the system keyboard and type normally; then return to Chiaro, tap START and choose what to do with the text in the field.

Translate — translates what you wrote into one of 15 supported languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Korean, Turkish), with an engine built to sound natural rather than machine-translated: idioms, register and tone land right in the target language. Improve — rewrites your text in the same language, clearer and sharper.

Chat — a multi-turn AI assistant for a quick question, without leaving the keyboard.

Flirt — when you don't know what to say next, get suggestions to keep the conversation going, with memory of what you've already talked about: no repeated topics.

Understand — copy the message you received and don't understand, switch to the Chiaro keyboard, tap "Paste": it translates it into your language.

PRIVACY Chosen text travels encrypted through Chiaro's relay, which does not log or retain its content, and is forwarded to OpenAI or DeepSeek. AI providers may temporarily retain API data under their own policies. The clipboard is read only when you explicitly tap "Paste" in Understand — never automatically or in the background.

SUBSCRIPTION Chiaro includes 3 days of Pro access from first use. This service trial is separate from Apple and does not start or automatically convert into a subscription. ChiaroTraslate Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription at €8.99/month (the exact price in your local currency is shown by the App Store before purchase). It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation and each renewal, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.
