Fate picks one person fairly from a group at a table. You never enter any names. You choose how many people are playing, then tap once. Fate shows you who was chosen.

THE PROBLEM

When a group needs to pick one person — who goes first, who pays, who answers the question — there is often no fair way to decide. People argue, or the loudest person picks. Fate makes the choice for you, and everyone can see it is fair.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Set the number of people, from 2 to 32, with one large stepper.
2. Tap once to start.
3. Fate gives you a simple counting instruction with a fixed starting point: the person holding the phone is seat 1, and you count clockwise from there. For example: "Person 4 — phone holder is seat 1, count clockwise."

Because the app never asks for names and never points at the room, it works at any table, with any group.

FAIR BY DESIGN

Fate uses a cryptographically fair random pick, so every person has equal odds. The spinning ring on the screen is animation only — it has no effect on the result. The odds were tested for fairness.

THREE MODES

• Single pick: choose one person.
• Elimination: knock players out one by one until one is left. Eliminated players keep their numbers.
• Teams: split the group into fair teams, for example "Team A: seats 1, 4, 6, 9."

Fate has a polished light theme and dark theme, so it reads well in any room.
