RetroNotes Markdown is a classic, local-first notes app for people who prefer simple, readable files.

Write, browse, and organize notes in a focused three-column interface. Notes are saved locally as Markdown and TXT files, making your writing easy to read, back up, move, and access outside the app.

On Mac, RetroNotes uses App Documents by default and lets you choose a Finder-visible folder such as Documents or Downloads.

RetroNotes Markdown does not require an account, does not include ads, and does not use analytics or tracking services.
