Choose a preset inside Downsizer, from the Photos share menu, or with Quick Downsizer in Siri, Spotlight, Shortcuts, and the Action button. You can still fine-tune every setting afterward.

FIT UNDER A FILE-SIZE LIMIT Enter an exact KB or MB target and Downsizer finds the best fitting quality for JPEG, HEIC, or WebP. Set a maximum for each photo or one combined limit for the whole batch. For a whole-batch target, Downsizer intelligently distributes the size budget according to each photo's dimensions and detail, then verifies the combined output before export.

QUALITY GUARD Protect Readability keeps compression quality and output dimensions above a clarity floor. A simple Excellent, Good, or Review status helps you judge the result before saving. If the requested limit is too small, Downsizer tells you instead of silently over-compressing important text or detail.

RESIZE WITHOUT STRETCHING Resize in pixels, percent, centimeters, or inches. Use one-tap 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% options, set a print resolution from 72–600 DPI, and keep the aspect ratio locked automatically. Mixed portrait and landscape photos retain their own proportions.

COMPRESS VIDEOS Choose Original, 1080p, 720p, or 480p, then adjust quality or enter a target size. Downsizer calculates the bitrate and estimates the result before export. Choose space-saving HEVC or compatible H.264, keep HDR color, and optionally remove audio.

SAVE OR SHARE Save results to Photos or share them to Mail, Messages, Files, AirDrop, and other apps. Send photos directly from Apple Photos with Add to Downsizer. After saving, Downsizer can also help delete the originals with an iOS confirmation.
