The AI boom didn't end the world. It drained it. Decades of data centers and compute wars ran Earth's grid into the ground. The machines got smarter while the cities went dark.

The fix is brutally analog. Strip a drone down to a hull and a flywheel, throw it into low orbit, and let physics do the work. Every lap through Earth's magnetic field spins charge into the grid below.

ONE THUMB. ONE RULE. KEEP LAPPING. Tap to flip your direction. That is the whole control scheme, and it is all you get. The orbit corridor is filthy: three generations of dead drones from pilots who lapsed for half a second, and comet fragments from the '77 swarm still crossing the lane.

FLY CLOSE. FALL CHEAP. DEPLOY AGAIN. Your drone's only weapon is its own charge. Skim debris close enough and your kinetic wake arcs into it. One flash, one rock gone, capacitors dead for three seconds. Every close call spikes your harvest. Every lap banks energy for the world below. The closer you fly, the faster Earth wakes up.

KNOW YOUR LANE Red debris: dead drones from failed deployments. Zap them or dodge them. Grey comets: fragments of the '77 swarm. Too massive to arc. Pure dodge. Purple shards: exotic cell salvage, beamed straight down on pickup. Supply drops: crates from Mission Control carrying Shield, Overcharge, Magnet, Superconduct, and E.D.S., which turns the whole planet into your bodyguard.

BUILD YOUR SERVICE RECORD Every kilowatt-hour you deliver counts toward your lifetime pilot record, and a crash can never take it from you. Climb ten ranks from Cadet to Lightbringer. Earn shards, open lucky crates, and collect more than 20 hulls, from clean liveries to legendary machines wrapped in coronas, black holes, and storm blades. Upgrade your laser trail and recovery in the garage between deployments.

A LIVING ORBIT The magnetosphere is destabilizing as the grid browns out. Your lane morphs and warps as you fly, magnetic gusts surge your speed, and no two deployments feel the same.

Mission Control grades every run with a debrief. Sometimes it is a nation's worth of light delivered in one deployment. Sometimes you powered a toaster. A single toaster.

Company policy is printed above every pilot station: drones are replaceable, laps are not.
