80s LCD watch & calculator
22 retro faces and a working calculator that converts — scroll, tap, done. Currencies that work offline, weather on your wrist. One tap. That beep.
Remember when your watch could do math?
LCD-84 puts the digital watches of the 80s on your Apple Watch — not as pictures, but as working machines. Type on the calculator. Convert currency at the counter. Time your laps. Shoot the UFOs. Every key clicks with a haptic and a genuine piezo chirp, and a tap lights the blue-green electroluminescent glow.
TWENTY-TWO FACES
Swipe the display to cycle them, or choose which ones appear in the iPhone app.
• Calculator — an LCD clock over a working numpad. Start typing and it calculates: authentic chain math, 8-digit display, backspace, and a 2nd key with %, √, ± and memory (M+ M− MR MC). Turn the Digital Crown to scroll your calculation history.
• Classic — the big-display digital with MODE-cycled sub-modes: Time, lap Stopwatch, Countdown Timer and Dual Time. The stopwatch and timer keep running even when the app is closed.
• Vintage — the black-faceplate digital: a metal border, a fine gold pinstripe, printed ALARM CHRONO and WATER RESIST markings, and a blue EL backlight bar.
• Analogue and Ana-Digi — retro hands sweeping an LCD-coloured dial, with configurable sub-dials, optional numerals, and a world clock you scrub with the Crown.
• Minimal, LED, Square, Flip Clock, Nixie — the plain day-and-date digital, the 70s red-LED that lights when you tap, the square shock-resistant, a split-flap departure board, and glowing nixie tubes.
• World Timer, Moon & Sun, Marlin, ABC — dual-zone time with the equalizer bar graph; a moon-phase disc over a sunrise-to-sunset arc; a dive-timer bezel with tide and moon; and compass, altitude and temperature.
• Twin Graph, Activity, Terminal — step and heart-rate bar graphs, Move/Exercise/Stand rings, and a green-phosphor console you page with the Crown.
• Data Bank — up to 25 telememo entries, typed on the iPhone or imported from Contacts.
• UFO Game, Car Race, Number Invaders — real game watches: a watch first, then tap to play. Steer with the Crown, tap to fire, and the high score sticks.
THE CONVERTER
The calculator converts. Press 2nd, then CONV, and pick from a scrollable list — kilometres and miles, centimetres and inches, kilos and pounds, Celsius and Fahrenheit, litres and gallons, and your home currency against the US dollar, euro, yen, pound, Australian dollar and New Zealand dollar. Every conversion is listed in both directions, so there is no direction key to remember. Rates come from the European Central Bank daily and are cached on the watch, so they keep working with no signal.
MAKE IT YOURS
The iPhone companion configures everything: theme presets, case materials and key styles, LCD colours, digit tint, key beeps, alarm melodies, and the display blocks — weather, heart rate, battery, world time, week number, seconds, stopwatch and more. Settings sync to the watch automatically, and a complication on your regular watch face launches LCD-84 with a tap.
LCD-84 PRO — ONE PURCHASE, YOURS FOREVER
The free app includes the Calculator and Classic faces, the free themes and the steel case. A single unlock adds the other twenty faces, the converter, the Pro theme presets, case materials and key styles, the Blue EL backlight, the chirp pack, alarm melodies and full-screen dials. No subscription.
PRIVACY
No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Location is used only to fetch local weather (optional), and heart rate never leaves your watch.
