Qibla, Athan, Quran & Dhikr
Retro Adhan shows your prayer times in an old-school pixel art design. Times, the Quran and all content work offline.
PRAYER TIMES
Calculated on your device — no internet needed. Live countdown to the next prayer. Twenty-three calculation methods (Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco, Russia, Iran, UAE, Jordan, France, Portugal, MWL, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egypt, Karachi and more) and a Hanafi/Shafi option for Asr.
A time is never moved ahead of the official one; the precaution margin is listed in Settings > Sources, and each prayer can be shifted by ± minutes to match your mosque.
NOTIFICATIONS
A notification for every prayer, with twelve sounds: nine short 8-bit signals, two long wake-up alerts and a real adhan recording. EACH notification can have its own sound: the adhan for Fajr, a short one for Dhuhr. Each carries a sourced verse or hadith that changes daily. Plus reminders for Friday, Tarawih, Eid, the holy nights and Suhoor.
QIBLA COMPASS
Qibla direction corrected to true north, with the distance to the Kaaba. The full-screen compass shows nearby cities and neighbouring countries; tap a name and the arrow turns that way. If the compass needs calibration the app says so.
QIBLA THROUGH THE CAMERA
The CAMERA VIEW button places the Kaaba marker and arrows flowing towards it over the live image. When the qibla is out of view, an arrow at the edge tells you how far to turn. The image is not saved and never sent anywhere.
MOSQUES NEARBY
Lists the closest mosques with distance and bearing; pick one as a compass target and follow it, or open it in Apple or Google Maps. Only your coordinates go to an OpenStreetMap server for the list, and they are not stored.
APPLE WATCH
Four pages on your wrist: prayer times with a countdown, a qibla arrow, a tasbih counter and prayer tracking. A complication shows the next prayer.
THE HOLY QURAN
114 surahs in the real 604-page Mushaf layout. Arabic, translation, or both side by side. Your reading position is remembered.
THE LIFE OF THE PROPHET
A 72-chapter sira narrative from his birth to his passing, with sources and short questions. Offline.
LIBRARY
- 81 hadiths, grouped by topic
- Asma ul-Husna: the 99 Names with meanings
- 19 daily supplications
- A step-by-step prayer guide: wudu, ghusl, tayammum, how to pray
- Favorites: starred verses, hadiths, duas and names in one list
GUIDE
280 sayings from verses and authentic hadiths, under fourteen topics. The topics you pick decide what appears on the home screen and in the widget.
TRACKING
Mark the prayers you performed, build streaks and earn badges. Missed-prayer (Qada) tracker. Dhikr counter with tasbih rounds and a weekly summary.
CALENDAR
Monthly timetable, Hijri date and holy days. Yearly timetable: twelve months in one screen; share a month as an image or the year as a PDF.
10 LANGUAGES
English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Kazakh. City names appear in your language too. Kazakh is an interface language only for now; library texts appear in English, the Quran translation in Russian.
PRIVACY
No data collection, no ads, no tracking, no account. Your location is used only on your device for prayer times and qibla. The one exception is the mosque search: tapping that button sends your coordinates to an OpenStreetMap server, nothing else. Prefer not to enable location services? Pick your city by hand.
SUPPORT
Every feature is free. The optional "Support Development" subscription ($1.99 monthly or $19.99 yearly) unlocks nothing; in return a supporter star appears in the app. It auto-renews until cancelled and can be cancelled anytime in App Store settings.
