HUNTER'S FISH DEX is a fishing collection-and-battle game that packs the whole world of Japanese fishing into your pocket, from the harbor next door to the hidden swamps where monsters lurk.

Built for real by the fishing YouTube channel "Osakana Hunter Haru" and the fishing brand HUNTER'S DESIGN, it's completely free with no ads. Play a quick round in a spare minute, or grind for full completion — both work.

■ What you'll do

・Catch and complete the Dex Over 70 species of fish. There's a real thrill in turning each "???" silhouette into a real entry. Rare variants and giant "Nushi" boss fish are waiting for you.

・Conquer 9 fishing fields Start at the everyday Harbor, then unlock new fields as you level up — Clear River, Nushi's Swamp, Rough Reef, Northern Coast, Quiet Lake, and more. Each spot (under the night lamp, the tetrapods, the brackish river mouth, the boat lane…) holds different fish.

・Master the timing of the "hookset" Tap the moment the mark appears to set the hook! Too early and it spits the bait; too late and it gets away. Fights with rare fish become a nail-biting mini-game where you stop a white bar inside the zone.

・Rock-paper-scissors type battles Build a team from the fish you've caught and take on rivals in best-of-three duels. Read the type matchups and pick your moves — simple, but with real depth.

・Battle friends with a match code Just turn your team into a "match code" and swap it. Use a code you've received to battle a friend anytime. (No server sign-up, no purchases.)

・Gear up for the advantage Collect and equip rods, reels, and lures. New gear unlocks as you level up and win battles.

・Story and characters Every chapter has a story, with a colorful cast of trainers. Enjoy the fun of fishing wrapped in the easygoing atmosphere of Japan's Tohoku region.
