Infinotes

I was excited to have finally found a note-taking app with an "infinite" canvas that had true near-infinite zoom. It'd allow me to format my notes in many useful ways, and it wasn't a dedicated drawing app, which was a bonus. However, those two features I mentioned before are about all it does right. The app is very lacking in features. There's no template setting at all (e.g. not possible to add dot grids or graph lines), there's no way to change the color of the background, it's not possible to export to any other format except for the app's own .infinote format, there's no way to sync to anything but iCloud (which itself is forced on you, and no settings to turn it off or switch to another option), there's only a very small selection of pens/writing input formats and each input only has 5 predetermined weights to choose from, so you can't control your stroke thickness much. Additionally, palm rejection isn't great, and there's too much smoothing of your writing going on, which is a major pain if you write in cursive like I do. I really wanted to like it as there are shockingly few options for this sort of app on the App Store, and especially because I'd much rather pay for the app once than have yet another subscription. Unfortunately, just not there yet for me. Really wish instead of it being charged up front I could've tried it for a day or two. The purchase is non-refundable, so I've now paid for an app I won't be using. Really hope it gets better over time because there's potential and a niche that needs to be filled.

Hard to find a polished app that is truly an infinite canvas in every dimension. This is it and it’s fantastic!
