ECC-SOCS is the official student app for the School of Computer Studies at Excelsior Community College. It brings everything you need for your programme into one place — so you never miss an announcement, a deadline, or a chance to have your say.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Stay informed — Read department announcements and news, with a clean home dashboard that surfaces what's most relevant right now. • Get notified — Opt in to push notifications by category (academic, events, exams, deadlines, urgent) so you only hear about what matters to you. • Never miss a date — Browse upcoming events and deadlines, with reminders before they arrive. • Check in to events — Scan the venue QR code to check in when you attend. • Mark class attendance — Record your attendance quickly with your student ID and course. • Track your progress — Signed-in students can follow their journey through the two-year programme, module by module. • View your grades — See your scores and results, pulled straight from the college system. • Browse your modules — Explore your programme's curriculum and module details. • Stay on top of tasks — Keep track of to-dos and reminders assigned to you. • Have your say — Answer polls and surveys, submit feedback, and see "You said, we did" outcomes showing how student voice drives change. • Find resources — Access curated learning links, past papers, and course materials. • Connect — Discover clubs, find staff contacts, get help, and reach the department.

SIGN IN (OPTIONAL)

Most of the app is available to everyone. Sign in with your student email to unlock personal features — grades, progress tracking, tasks, and support tickets. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your college email; no password to remember.
