There is no reason you would like to install this app. But organiser of the event doesn’t allow you to buy anything without it. Base login flow was kinda broken, google worked. You can’t pay for anything in the app like with Apple Pay, you need a top up via 3rd party service with an additional fee which is a total rip off for every transaction.
