WHY IT EXISTS I built JustScribe because I couldn't find a transcription app I wanted to use. The good ones charged a monthly subscription I couldn't justify for occasional use. Most were unreliable in anything but English. Few could handle a long recording. None let me keep what I transcribed organized in a way that made sense.

PAY FOR WHAT YOU USE Start with 60 minutes free. After that, top up: 1 hour, 10 hours, or 50 hours. Your balance never expires and there is no subscription. You can buy time without creating an account — not even to pay.

BUILT FOR REAL LANGUAGES Transcription covers 50+ languages, including many that other apps handle poorly. Translate any transcript into the language you choose, in two styles: faithful (literal) or polished (natural). Optional automatic summaries.

YOUR CONTENT STAYS YOURS Audio is transmitted for processing and deleted immediately afterwards — it is never stored on our servers. Transcripts and notes live on your device and sync through your own iCloud private database, which we cannot access. Our servers keep only billing metadata: minutes used, nothing you said. Delete your account from inside the app at any time and it is gone immediately.

NOTES THAT STAY ORGANIZED Save any transcript into a notebook, rename it, sort it, and keep translations alongside the original. Everything syncs across your devices through iCloud.
