Wonderline is a reading and vocabulary app that helps you build the ability to read English as English — without relying on full translation.

If you let AI translate the whole thing, you understand it for now. But that habit never makes you a reader. Wonderline supports the opposite habit: look up only the words and phrases you don't know, grasp their meaning, and read the rest yourself.

LOOK UP ONLY WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW Tap a word to see its meaning. Switch between Japanese and English-to-English definitions; English definitions let you grasp concepts directly. Select a phrase to see its translation, and hear pronunciation.

CAPTURE BY VOICE When an unfamiliar word comes up while reading, just press and hold the screen and say it. Captured words collect in your Words list.

WORKS WITH WORDSLINE (OPTIONAL) Send only the words you choose to the review app Wordsline (nothing is sent automatically).

After that, a single one-time purchase ($29.99) unlocks everything for good — it is not a subscription, and future updates are included at no extra cost. Wonderline Originals and the one-tap voice memo (from the Action Button or Shortcuts) are unlocked by that purchase and are not part of the 30-day free trial. Reading, tapping words, importing text, and the in-app voice capture are available during the trial.
