Nope Scope: Kids Safety

Nope Scope is two safety games in one app — built by My Body Tells the Truth (MBTTT), a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to teach kids real-world safety skills through play. Pick a game on first launch and switch anytime in Settings.

LITTLE ADVENTURES (ages 5–8) Explore a friendly town and meet the community helpers who keep it safe — Officer Brian at the police station, Captain Jay, Firefighter Hai, Medic Shana, Doctor Aditi, Mum Colleen, Andrew at the community hall, and Foreman Jenny. Tap a helper on their building to play gentle YES/NO quiz cards with warm "Great job!" feedback and a why-it-matters fact after every question. Earn up to 3 stars per quiz. No combat, no timers, no failure — just learning at your own pace.

GUARDIAN SQUAD (ages 9–11) The same helpers suit up as heroes for a battle quiz adventure. Answer safety questions correctly to power your hero and defeat cartoon Trouble Bots like Shadow Sneak, Pass-Kraken, and Panic Goblin. HP bars, combos, boss battles, a daily mission, streaks, and achievements keep older kids playing — and every lesson learned is saved to a Fact Book they can reread anytime. Earn coins by playing to unlock two extra heroes, Captain Shield and Anchor, in the hero shop. Coins come from playing only — there is no real money anywhere in the app.

ONE SAFETY CURRICULUM Both games share over 250 safety questions across 8 locations, authored by MBTTT and drawn from its nonprofit safety workshops: • Stranger awareness • Online safety • Body safety & boundaries • Emergency response (calling 911) • Home safety • Feelings & confidence • Kindness & anti-bullying • Safe spaces

NOTE FOR PARENTS Nope Scope teaches body-safety and abuse-prevention topics — private parts rules, uncomfortable secrets, and trusted adults — in age-appropriate, non-graphic language, modeled on Erin's Law-style school curricula. It is best explored alongside a trusted adult.
